About us

It all began with my dad’s quest for a better place to eat. My father, JD Dickinson and his long time friend, Rick Demmig set out to open their own restaurant featuring scratch-made bread, and bistro food . Since 2007, we’ve been crafting the local gourmet experience to bring Rathdrum and the Northern Idaho area a place to enjoy a great burger with friends and family where you feel like you’re a part of the community.

Following their retirement, I took over in 2020 and tackled the intricacies of running a restaurant during COVID. While it was difficult, it only reinforced the faith I have in our community and the desire to have a place where people can gather in a warm and friendly place.
